Privacy Policy

Rocking Israel (the trade name of Amit Kapeta, licensed dealer (Osek Murshe) no. 206230203) ("Rocking Israel", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect on rockingisrael.live (the "Site"), why, who we share it with and your rights, under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 (including Amendment 13) and its regulations. Where the GDPR applies to you, we process data on the bases described below.

1. Controller and contact

The data controller is Amit Kapeta (Osek Murshe no. 206230203), trading as "Rocking Israel". Privacy questions or requests: info@rockingisrael.live, phone +972-55-723-2688.

2. What we collect

  • Booking / contact form: name, email, phone, organisation, event type, approximate date and location, requested artist, optional budget range and your message.
  • Accessibility requests: any information you choose to give so we can accommodate you – optional.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed – via privacy-friendly measurement; analytics/marketing cookies only with your consent (see Cookie Notice).

You are under no legal obligation to provide data. Required fields are needed to reply; without them we cannot handle your request.

3. Purposes (and GDPR legal bases)

Responding to enquiries and booking requests (steps prior to a contract / legitimate interest); coordinating with artists and venues (same); sending updates and marketing – only with explicit consent (consent); handling accessibility requests (legal obligation / consent); site security and abuse prevention (legitimate interest); improving the Site using aggregate statistics (legitimate interest / consent for cookies); legal compliance.

4. Who we share data with

  • The artist or their representatives your enquiry concerns – only to handle it.
  • Service providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality and security commitments: Cloudflare (hosting and delivery of the site, protection, security and rate limiting, including processing of IP addresses and access logs), Resend (delivering website form submissions by email) and Google (Google Workspace, our email service for receiving and handling enquiries). Some providers, including Resend and Google (USA), process data outside Israel, mainly in the USA and the EU. This transfer is made only to provide the service and in line with the law, including the Israeli Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations.
  • Authorities – where required by law. We do not sell personal data or share it for third parties' own marketing.

5. Marketing messages

The Site currently has no newsletter or online sales (such as merchandise), and no marketing mailing list exists today. If one is introduced in future, we will send marketing messages only with your explicit prior consent, with an easy way to unsubscribe in every message, as required by Israeli law (section 30A of the Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasting), 5742-1982), and we will update this policy before doing so. Online sales, if added, will likewise comply with Israeli law, including consumer protection and business details.

6. Security

Reasonable, industry-standard measures: HTTPS, access limited to those who need it, reputable vendors, and procedures under the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 2017. No system is perfectly secure; we will act as required by law in the event of a serious incident.

7. Retention

Booking/contact enquiries are kept for as long as needed for the purposes they were provided for, or as long as the law requires, and are deleted on request. We do not promise automatic deletion on a fixed schedule. Mailing-list data: until you unsubscribe.

8. Your rights

Access, correction and deletion of your data, and withdrawal of marketing consent; EU residents also have restriction, objection and portability rights and may complain to their supervisory authority. Contact info@rockingisrael.live; we reply within 30 days. You may also contact the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority.

9. Minors

The Site is not intended to collect data from children under 16 without parental consent. Booking requests are for adults.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be announced on the Site.
